Today I will show you how to draw and paint a LILY flower in a simple-to-follow step by step drawing instructions.
First, observe the flower!
From the picture I can observe that they are Yellow and Red Hexagon flowers with brown stem and narrow leaves.
Another thing I notice is that they are near to each other with small buds.
So, let's start drawing.
STEP 1 - Draw a rough figure/layout by which you get some idea about where to set flowers, bud and leaves.
Here, I have used a normal HB pencil.

Now we will start painting this!
STEP 5 - To colour the flowers we will have to first observe the original flowers.
Colour Observation-
Petals - Yellow and Red
Stamen - Mehroon
Stem - Brown/Green
Leaves - Dark Green with parallel venation
Buds - Mixture of red and yellow
So, here I am going to use DOMS Poster colours they are water-soluble and good for Beginners.
and brushes I am using are Itsy Bitsy 000 and fine art 000. Both are 000 but every company has its own size like itsy bitsy 000 not very thin it's like 2 no. size and fine art 000 is very thin good for thinner strokes.
Before colouring, you should erase your pencil drawing about 50% not completely but a little bit.
As we are done with the drawing part
Now, start colouring the petals first with yellow and then with red colour in the middle.
STEP 6-Colour the stem leaves and bud part.
STEP 7 - Here is the Final Look!
With a little bit of editing, Calligraphy and Photography your artwork is ready to be posted.
